Experience

35 years of aviation experience, including 10 Years recent experience as FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, with the following responsibilities:

Over 450 Pilot certification functions on the Boeing 737, Lockheed L-382 and British Aerospace 146.
Team leader on 3 NASIP and 2 RASIP inspections conducted on FAR 121 certificated carriers
Team leader on 3 different Aviation Safety Inspector Handbook development teams. Handbooks were designed to provide inspectors with detailed information on FAR 121 operations.
FAR 121 Flight Operations Specialist participating in the initial certification of 4 Air Carriers Certificated under FAR 121/119.
Occasional temporary assignments to FAA Academy to teach FAR 135 and FAR 121 inspector job functions. Participated in development of FAR 119 initial draft.
Developed and implemented system wide customer survey process for use by the FAA Flight Standards organization. Detailed on multiple occasions to Washington D.C. Headquarters to manage this project.
