Statement of Qualifications

Experience

35 years of aviation experience, including 10 Years recent experience as FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, with the following responsibilities:
  • Over 450 Pilot certification functions on the Boeing 737, Lockheed L-382 and British Aerospace 146.

  • Team leader on 3 NASIP and 2 RASIP inspections conducted on FAR 121 certificated carriers

  • Team leader on 3 different Aviation Safety Inspector Handbook development teams. Handbooks were designed to provide inspectors with detailed information on FAR 121 operations.

  • FAR 121 Flight Operations Specialist participating in the initial certification of 4 Air Carriers Certificated under FAR 121/119.

  • Occasional temporary assignments to FAA Academy to teach FAR 135 and FAR 121 inspector job functions. Participated in development of FAR 119 initial draft.

  • Developed and implemented system wide customer survey process for use by the FAA Flight Standards organization. Detailed on multiple occasions to Washington D.C. Headquarters to manage this project.

  • Flight Engineer - Turboprop Powered

  • Aviation Mechanic - Airframe and Powerplant

  • U.S. Forest Service Pilot Qualification Card - Patrol, Transport and Air Tanker
